Interview a volunteer or someone you admire
There are two options available here. Pick the one you feel you will get more out of.
1. Find a volunteer and interview them
Carry out a 10-minute interview to find out what they do and what they get out of volunteering.
You might want to record it and make it into a podcast, or write it up
as a blog if you have one. Learn how to set up a blog or create your own podcast
with our handy how to guides. Alternatively, you might want to turn the interview into
an article either for yourself, or, if it's appropriate, the local paper.
After doing the interview, ask yourself the following questions:
More things to do...
Describe your dream job
Paint a poster of your day and stick it up at home
Cook a meal for the person who makes work worth getting up for
Give advice to yourself in the past
Your stories
Words from the wise
