The only certainty in life
is change.
And it may sound strange
but one day, we too shall pass.
But we live like this isn't true.
We do
hang onto things,
grabbing at the shifting landscape,
clutching flowers so tight, they die in our hands.
Enjoy things as they arise
But don't be surprised
That nothing
lasts forever.
The world's not about 'them' and 'me'
But a sense of 'we'
and what we do
while we see life through.
Forgive others their clumsiness
- at the end of the day, there's more at play
We're all just atoms, crashing around,
pretending it won't be our time soon.
But occasionally pointing at the moon.
