Build some bridges

All families have their disagreements - most of the time they're over nothing more complicated than whose turn it is to do the washing up. However, sometimes arguments do linger for longer than they should and this can often lead to family tension and unhappiness.

If you're having difficulties with a partner, a sibling, an in-law or a friend, why not arrange to meet in a neutral place like a café or park and talk through the issues calmly?

Agree to call a truce, not only for your own peace of mind, but also for the benefit and harmony of mutual friends and family members.
